Highlights from the GIBS 2025 Prophet Training

Prophets from across the Genstar Portfolio gathered in Chicago for advanced 80/20 training, focused on execution, facilitation, and accelerating business impact. 

We recently concluded a Prophet training session at the Loews Hotel in Chicago, bringing together a new cohort of Prophets from across Genstar portfolio companies. Led by 80/20 experts Joe Michels and Michael Mostek, the multi-day session focused on building in-depth knowledge, developing stronger facilitation skills, and acquiring practical tools to drive EBITDA growth and eliminate waste. 

This immersive experience provided participants with actionable insights on how to implement 80/20 within their respective businesses. Sessions included guidance on overcoming common roadblocks, peer learning from established PROPHETs, and live facilitation practice to sharpen their ability to lead teams through complexity-reduction and strategic focus. 

Beyond technical training, the event fostered cross-company collaboration and reinforced the critical role PROPHETs play in embedding 80/20 thinking across the enterprise.
